Will Bersey (Director of Music) is thrilled to announce the launch of The King's Association Chorus, a new ensemble for keen and committed adult singers from the school community. This exciting group will include staff, parents, OKS (alumni) and friends of the King's network, and will join forces with The King’s Chorus, our largest school choir, for a memorable performance of Poulenc’s Gloria at The King’s School on Friday 20 March 2026.
Rehearsals (2026):
Concert Day
On the day of the concert (Friday 20 March 2026), we will rehearse from 2.00 - 5.00pm in the Shirley Hall, at The King's School, with full choir and orchestra, prior to the performance at 7.30pm. Sadly, we have not been able to book the Cathedral this year, which is unavailable for all of March as the staff prepare for the Enthronement of the new Archbishop of Canterbury. We will return the following year!
Do please consider joining us. Will Bersey hopes that 'regular' members can get to at least 3 of the published rehearsals, although pros, semi-pros and those who are used to singing with us may participate with less rehearsal time, which we can discuss separately.
Date: Friday 20 March 2026 (Concert). See rehearsal dates above.
Location: The King's School Canterbury, The Shirley Hall, CT1 2ES.
