| OKS & King's Association News |
On Friday 8 May 2025, King's Association members came together for our first networking event in Canterbury!
After the success of our breakfast networking series in London, we decided to bring our networking events to Canterbury for local OKS, parents and friends of King's. Held at Kesson Studios in the heart of Canterbury, the event was an opportunity for King's-related local businesses to network and build connections. Kesson Studios is an award-winning reformer Pilates studio - their goal is to help people heal, move and improve and they offer a range of classes Monday to Sunday.
A mixture of OKS, staff, current and former parents (from all three King's Schools - the Senior School, JKS and the International College), the guest list was truly representative of all members of the King's Association. Many guests remarked that they knew several other guests already through business, but didn't realise their connection to King's!
After networking, doughnuts and introductions, guests were given an exclusive tour of the reformer Pilates classroom at Kesson Studios. With thanks to Sophie, Event Manager at Kesson Studios, for sharing her incredible knowledge of reformer Pilates and even demonstrating some movements.
We'd like to extend a huge thank you to Denise Kesson (OKS and Current parent) for hosting the event, and Adam Papa-Adams (Former JKS Parent) for providing delicious doughnuts.
Visit the Kesson Studio website to find out more and book your first class. Their special introduction offer gives you 6 sessions and a pair of luxury gripper socks for £75.
