On Friday 18 September 2026, the Class of 1986 gathered in London for a wonderfully lively reunion at The Ivy Brasserie, Soho.

Over drinks and delicious canapés, old friends picked up conversations as though no time had passed at all. The room was filled with laughter, memories and stories from King's days, alongside plenty of catching up on careers, families and adventures since leaving Canterbury. It was a fantastic evening and a real reminder of the enduring friendships and connections forged in the Precincts.

To mark the occasion, a number of highly coveted (and fiercely contested!) reunion awards were presented.

This included the coveted Pilkington Cup (in reality a King's School mug) which was once again claimed by The Grange. Their OKS accounted for an impressive 23% of all attendees, securing them the title of best-represented House on the night for the second time. 

The Travelled Furtherst OKS Award was shared by those returning from Hong Kong, Kenya and the USA, with a special mention for our surprise guest from Australia who wasn't actually on the guest list!

And finally, our First Person to Book Award which went to an OKS who was ultimately unable to attend on the evening, but whose commitment to the reunion spirit certainly did not go unnoticed!

Whether you went home with an award or simply came along for the conversation, we are hugely grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the night such a memorable success. It was a joy to welcome you back for an evening that was, above all, a celebration of friendship and the lifelong bonds that unite OKS across the world.
