On what proved to be the warmest day of the year so far, we were delighted to host our second Benefactors' Garden Party – a wonderful opportunity to thank our supporters for their generous and invaluable support of the School.

Held on the Friday of King's Week, the event brought together almost 100 friends and supporters of King's, including donors to our transformational bursary campaign, The Charter Awards; members of the 1541 Society and the Robert Rose Legacy Society; and early supporters of our first-ever Giving Day.

Despite the exceptional heat, the atmosphere was relaxed and joyful. Set against the beautiful backdrop of the historic Archdeacon's Garden, guests gathered in the golden light of the late afternoon to celebrate their enduring connection to King's. This year's Garden Party also coincided with the conclusion of our inaugural Giving Day, giving the evening an added sense of achievement and gratitude as we reflected on the collective impact of our community.

As the sun began to set, the Garden Party flowed seamlessly into the much-anticipated Serenade in the majestic Water Tower Garden, the flagship event of King's Week. Surrounded by the timeless beauty of the School and uplifted by the talents of our musicians, guests enjoyed a truly memorable performance. The programme featured Benjamin Britten's Five Flower Songs, John Rutter's Monday's Child, and Ralph Vaughan Williams' Youth and Love from Songs of Travel.

We are deeply grateful to all our benefactors for their generous support of the School. Their commitment helps ensure that King's continues to thrive, both today and for generations to come. We look forward to welcoming you again next year.
