The King’s community has always been built on something special: a shared belief in the power of education to transform lives. Today, that spirit continues through the 1541 Society - our regular giving community which brings together OKS, parents, staff and friends in support of our areas of greatest need.
At the heart of the Society is a simple idea: small gifts, given regularly, can create lasting change. Members choose to give annually, quarterly, or monthly, at a level that suits them. The suggested donation is £15.41 per month, which is just 50p a day! The majority also choose to support The Charter Awards transformational bursary fund and in doing so, they open more doors to King’s for talented young people who might otherwise never have the chance to study here.
Since launching a year ago, we are so grateful that the Society already has over 90 members and contributes more than £37,000 to the School each year. This means that we are now only a few supporters away from reaching our 100 member milestone - a moment that would represent not just a number, but a powerful statement of collective support for the next generation of pupils at King’s.
So, we have a simple question for you: could you be our 100th member?
Every member of the 1541 Society receives a limited edition print of the Dark Entry, drawn by our first Charter Awards Recipient. They also become part of a network of people who care deeply about the future of King’s and the young people who study here, receiving exclusive invitations and updates along the way.
Whether you give £5 a month, £15.41, or any amount that feels right for you, your support will help provide opportunities that can truly change a young person’s life. If King’s has ever meant something to you as a parent, an OKS, or a friend of the school we warmly invite you to join us.
Thank you.
