King’s Week 2026 takes place from Thursday 25 June to Wednesday 1 July 2026!

The week provides our pupils with a huge range of opportunities to perform, learn and celebrate each other within the setting of a ‘school arts festival’. It is bigger than ever this year and we hope that you can come and join us in supporting them. Of over 200 events, only 54 require tickets.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday 14 May 2026 at 10:30am. As ever, OKS, parents and members of the wider King’s community are warmly welcome to attend events and support our pupils. Early booking is advised, and you can contact the Box Office for any queries: boxoffice@kings-school.co.uk

Please visit the King’s Week website to browse the full list of events.

If you're an OKS visiting during King's Week, make sure to reach out to the Development Team. We'd love to meet you and take you for a tour of your old School and house during your trip. The team can be emailed at community@kings-school.co.uk

Here are our top picks for the week:

Come From Away (School Play) - Various Dates

Come From Away tells the heartwarming true story of how the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, welcomed nearly 7,000 stranded airline passengers (“Come From Aways”) when U.S. airspace closed after 9/11. This doubled the town’s population and led to unexpected friendships, community spirit, and acts of profound generosity amidst global tragedy. The musical interweaves stories of various passengers and locals, showcasing cultural clashes turning into trust as people from 100 countries find refuge and connection in this isolated community.

Please support our pupils at this year's landmark King's Week play.

Performances take place on Saturday 27 June, Sunday 28 June and Monday 29 June. Tickets are £8. Book here.

Giving Day - Thursday 25 to Friday 26 June

King's first ever Giving Day takes place on 25 - 26 June. For 36 hours, please join us in celebrating everything that makes King's remarkable whilst raising money for The Charter Awards.

There will be a series of Inter-House challenges to spectate, a coffee and cake morning, and Giving Day BBQ towards the end of the day.

The Serenade - Friday 26 June

Perhaps one of the most iconic King's Week events, The Serenade returns on Friday 26 June.

The Serenade Choir will perform an eclectic mix of melodies beneath the backdrop of the Cathedral and Green Court in the Water Tower Garden.

Tickets are £10. Book here.

OKS Summer Reunion - Saturday 27 June

All OKS are invited to soak up the King's Week atmosphere at the OKS Summer Reunion!

There will be a BBQ, drinks on the pavilion balcony and plenty of activities to explore and watch at Birley's including cricket, tennis, classic cars and more. It is the perfect opportunity to see the school in action and meet OKS friends.

King's Association Summer Fair - Saturday 27 June

New for 2026, we are introducing the King's Association Summer Fair - an opportunity to shop and support local OKS, parent and staff run businesses. Come along to Birley's for the day and explore our stalls.

KiDaCo - Various Dates

Hugely popular each year, KiDaCo (King's Dance Company) is a performance not to be missed! A record numbers of pupils auditioned for this year’s KiDaCo, which promises another stage brimming with energy, sparkle, rhythm, and talent. Accompanied by a great soundtrack, from big band jazz recordings to the uplifting sounds of the 70s, please join us in supporting our fabulous pupils as they dance their way to the end of the school year.
