The Lent term saw several instalments of the "OKS UniChats" webinar series, where current pupils hear young OKS answer questions about their university experiences. We kicked off with Cambridge and two guests who left the school in 2025, whose key advice to younger pupils was to pick a subject you love and to be open-minded to learning new things. Our Oxford OKS felt that it is possible to have a social life alongside an Oxford degree, as long as a pupil is organised and motivated, and team Durham raved about the community spirit and co-curricular life of that university. We have also been grateful for the wise words of OKS at Exeter, Warwick, RADA, UAL, RCM and all the major London universities, celebrating the full breadth of King's Futures destinations.
Above all, we are delighted to see that King's pupils hit the ground running and make the most of their opportunities, wherever they go on to study next. A huge thank you to our OKS speakers for sharing their experience and wisdom with our current 6th form pupils!
If you’re an OKS at university, we’d love for you to share your experiences in the next instalment of OKS UniChats. If you'd like to volunteer to get involved, please email the Development and OKS team: community@kings-school.co.uk
