The King's Mile: A Unique Run through King's and the City

The King's School Canterbury are excited to announce the first ever King's Mile - a unique running event based in the heart of the city of Canterbury. This is a brand new event, in collaboration with Canterbury Cathedral, that takes place during King's Week. 

The route starts in the beautiful surroundings of the Green Court and goes through the heart of the city of Canterbury via the King's Mile, the Marlowe Theatre, city centre and finishes on the other side of Canterbury Cathedral grounds with the magnificent building as the backdrop to the finish line. 

After the run there will be refreshments and stalls at the King's Week marquee on Green Court, where you can relax with friends and family. 

Your entry helps to support the work of two charities: Catching Lives Canterbury and the Social Justice Network. 

Details: Sunday 29 June 2025, 9:30am, starting on the Green Court. 

Entry fee: £10 affiliated club members, £12 unaffiliated, £15 on the day (subject to space). Includes chip timing.

This event is open to members of the public, but we hope to see many OKS and King's Association members taking part!
