The King's School Canterbury is launching a new international summer school programme, aimed at offering students aged 8-17 the opportunity to ignite their passions, nurture their interests, and empower them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in an ever-changing world.

King’s is well known for our academic ambition, outstanding pastoral care, and rich co-curricular offerings, and this summer school follows that ethos by offering students an authentic King’s experience at a leading UK boarding school.  Students will live in our on-site boarding houses, and make use of our excellent facilities, including modern classrooms, Malthouse Theatre, sports halls, swimming pools, and playing fields.

During our 2-week summer school programmes, students will enhance their English language skills with exciting lessons, activities, sports and social content as well as stimulating excursions and dedicated academic Academy choices to complement their learning in subject-specific areas, including music and performance, sports, international relations, and pre-university preparation.  Excursions are a vital and exciting part of and summer school experience, and this year’s timetable includes immersive excursions to the Tower of London, Cambridge, an aqua park, the Natural History Museum London, Thorpe Park Theme Park, and a Canterbury themed day exploring our beautiful and historic city.

Global Studies Summer School - (8-17 year olds, coming soon in 2026)

Exchange Programme - (available for King’s international partnership school student only)
