OKS Postgraduate Award Applications Open for 2026

Find out how the OKS trust can support your studies

We are delighted to share information on the OKS Postgraduate Awards 2026. If you are planning on furthering your educational career and would like to apply for a financial award, please read on.

The OKS Association, in conjuction with the OKS Educational & Benevolent Trust, launched this scheme to offer limited financial support to OKS who are looking to undertake postgraduate studies. A small number of awards up to £1,000, which go towards payment of tuition fees, will be available to OKS members.

Successful award holders will be required to make some contribution to the King's community in the form of an article, talk, performance or workshop.

Applications are invited by 31 May 2026 and should be sent to the OKS Team: oks@kings-school.co.uk

Applications should submit a cover letter (maximum of two pages), which includes the following:

  • Why you wish to undertake the course at this point in your life.
  • What you propose to 'return' to the School or OKS Association, if granted the award. For example, a talk, mentoring, master class.
  • Other sources of funding you are receiving for the course.
  • Proof that you have been accepted onto the course.

Past recipients of the award include Camilla Corbett (LX 2004-09), who was supported in forensic science studies, and Mabel Pickering (MR 2014-19) who was supported in journalism studies.
