Last Friday's Quiz Night was a brilliant evening of fun, friendly rivalry, and fundraising, expertly hosted by Rob Harrison, Tradescant Housemaster, as Quiz Master.
The event drew a fantastic turnout, and the atmosphere was buzzing with energy and competitive spirit from start to finish.
The quiz featured a variety of clever and engaging rounds, including a particularly memorable music round where songs were played backwards, leaving teams scratching their heads and laughing at their guesses. The competition was incredibly close, with the leading teams neck-and-neck right up to the final round. It all came down to a sudden death question on the capital of Switzerland, which clinched victory for the aptly named ‘The Missing Chair’ team.
One of the highlights of the evening was the raffle, which featured an array of amazing prizes generously donated by parents, OKS, and local businesses.
Prizes included a Fenwick voucher, a beautiful copy of Oxford in Watercolours, a bottle of Gusbourne wine, and much more.
Thanks to everyone’s generosity, the raffle alone raised an impressive £400 towards the Charter Awards transformational bursary fund.
A huge thank you to Rob, all the participants, and everyone who contributed to making the night such a success.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s event!
