Raising a Glass to Lifelong Connections: King’s Drinks in Oxford

Thank you for joining us!

On Thursday 16 October 2025, we hosted a vibrant evening of drinks at St Aldates Tavern in Oxford, bringing together a diverse and spirited group of individuals from across the King’s community. Held in the venue’s private Blue Room, the event welcomed OKS, staff, current and former, and friends of the School for a relaxed and joyful reunion.

Oxford is one of the strongest community hubs for King's outside of London and Canterbury, and the gathering drew attendees from across the generations - ranging from recent leavers studying at University to long-standing OKS living locally. The evening was filled with laughter, storytelling and reconnection, and the King's Development Team was on hand to welcome everyone and foster new introductions, reinforcing King's mission to nurture lifelong ties with the School and amongst its extended family.

Whether rekindling old friendships or forging new ones, the evening was a testament to the enduring spirit of King’s. Thank you to everyone who joined us this time and we look forward to being back for a second edition next year!

The Oxford Drinks were part of our regional King's Association events programme, which sees gatherings held across the UK and internationally. To keep up to date with our latest events, please visit our Upcoming Events page, or get in touch with the Team directly. We would love to hear from you!
