How storytelling took me from reading Shakespeare to the Estée Lauder Companies
Presented by Alicia Van Coillie (BR 2001-06)
Alicia was launched into the world of marketing. Something that was not necessarily a logical step became one of the most obvious choices to make. She entered the world of marketing through a little door labeled "social media" and realised that her creativity and love for a good story was a good match for the online marketing world. She gathered knowledge and experience on the job and has cultivated a real passion for creating communities for brands online.
Today, Alicia specialises in the creation of social media content. Having worked for clients such as The Coca-Cola Company BENELUX and KitchenAid EMEA, she decided to take the plunge and leave agency life behind her to move to the client's side at the Estée Lauder Companies BENELUX. She also works in influencer marketing and virtual selling, the latter of which has become a high priority in today's limited world due to COVID.
