A message from Jude Lowson, Head, on Thursday 25 June 2026:
I am delighted to announce that our first ever Giving Day is now live.
Thanks to the generosity of our early supporters, we have already made a remarkable start, and we look forward to the next 36 hours of celebration, giving and true King’s spirit.
The strength of King’s has always been its community. As our pupils rise to the challenge of this afternoon’s Giving Day inter-house competitions, they will play their part in celebrating both the day itself and the transformative power of a King’s education. I hope you will feel inspired to join them. Wherever you are in the world, we would be glad to have you take part.
To add a little extra excitement, I’ve been persuaded to offer a rather unusual incentive this Giving Day. Should we reach 150 donors, I will join our talented musicians for a special performance at this evening’s Jazz on a Summer Sunset concert. It’s a promise I make with equal parts enthusiasm and trepidation, so do help me keep my word. Every gift brings us one step closer.
Every gift, whatever its size, contributes directly to The Charter Awards and helps change lives through a King’s education.
Let us make this first ever Giving Day one we can all be proud of. Thank you for being part of the King’s community, and for making a lasting difference.
