This month marks a special milestone for the King’s community as we celebrate one year since the launch of the 1541 Society, a giving circle created to recognise and thank those who choose to support King’s with a regular gift.

Over the past year, an incredible 90 regular givers including OKS, Parents, Former Parents, Staff and Governors have joined the Society, contributing to transformational initiatives such as The Charter Awards and Sounding Out.

Together, these generous supporters are donating a remarkable £35,000 per year (including Gift Aid), with monthly gifts ranging all the way from £5 to £250. Every contribution, large or small, is making a tangible difference in providing opportunities and experiences for current and future King’s pupils.

To thank members for their ongoing commitment, each new donor receives a limited-edition print of “Dark Entry”, beautifully drawn by our first Charter Awards recipient. This artwork serves as a lasting reminder of the connection between giving, creativity, and the enduring spirit of King’s.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has joined the 1541 Society in its first year. Your generosity ensures that King’s continues to thrive and inspire, today and for generations to come.
