In recent years we have seen a significant increase in demand for day places at King’s, driven by our growing reputation and the desire of families to access a world-class education within their local community. To meet this demand we are creating a new Day House, alongside the three existing Day Houses, which will serve as a stimulating and nurturing environment for pupils across all age groups.
Our vision is to convert a former public house, conveniently located next to the School grounds, into a vibrant and welcoming addition to King’s. This unique facility will blend the historic charm of its original structure with modern amenities, creating an ideal environment for our day pupils.
The House will benefit from the same high staff:pupil ratio as all our other Houses and will have a dedicated team consisting of a Housemaster, a Deputy, Matron and Pastoral Care Assistants in place to ensure pupils are well looked after. The proposed design will feature spacious study areas, communal spaces for relaxation and socialisation, and all the necessary facilities to support our pupils’ holistic development.
This new Day House will be launching in the 25-26 academic year, providing flexible, modern and comfortable spaces for our pupils to study, socialise and relax.
